AWS is seeking an ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC). The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.Key job responsibilities:Troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing production software issuesDeveloping monitoring solutionsPerforming software maintenance and configurationImplementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, C/C++, JAVA, Python)Updating, tracking and resolving technical challengesWorking alongside development on AWS projectsUpdating/enhancing our current softwareAutomation of support processes and documentation of our systemsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience programming with at least one software programming languageCurrent, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or abovePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
