RESOURCE PLANNING ANLAYST
The Resource Planning Analyst is responsible for providing detailed insight and solutions for staff planning and controls. As an individual contributor, this role utilizes discretion and independent judgement in analyzing data and guiding recommendations to improve the financial planning and oversight of staffing and productivity throughout the organization. The Resource Planning Analyst maintains a consistent focus on staffing resources and cost-saving controls to deliver a superior level of customer service standards and the promotion of McGee Air Services' core values . This role reports to the Manager, Resource Planning & Time Administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Takes initiative using discretion and independent judgement to develop solutions and prepare staffing related financial analyses and reporting to support all McGee stations.
Applies financial acumen and business knowledge to develop and improve models to support staffing activities (e.g., labor reports and productivity forecasts, trend analysis, etc.).
Act as an internal data SME, extract and analyze data, and comfortable working with datasets to answer business questions
Research, analyze, plan, organize, coordinate, and implement initiatives to facilitate awareness for station productivity.
Transform complex, incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into actionable recommendations backed by structured thinking and data-driven insights.
Leads staffing forecasting, cost control, budget preparation, variance research, and other ad hoc projects and prepares recommendations to stakeholders and owners.
With limited direction from manager, works independently to innovate and problem solve, implement projects, provide insights, drive change, and influence the organization.
Analyzes the financial performance data for staffing to draw business conclusions and proposes action plans to improve productivity.
Demonstrate and maintain open and honest communication creating an inclusive, engaging and high-performance culture that demonstrates McGee's values of Safety, Service, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability and Pride.
Assist resource planning specialist with station bids for stations using shift bid software to ensure workload is adequately covered.
Provide input on proactive actions to maintain station staffing accounting for seasonality and short-term forecast changes.

QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of experience in finance, accounting, staff planning, or related area required.
Bachelor's degree with a focus in finance, accounting, economics or related field, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree required
Working knowledge of accounting/finance fundamentals required.
Ability to exercise good judgement, attention to detail, and analytical acumen for problem solving in daily activities and analysis required.
Self-starter with the ability to set and balance priorities, work independently, and take ownership required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and databases in general, including experience with a variety of Excel's math functions and pivot tables required.
Solid written and verbal communication skills and an ability to explain complex concepts to division leadership.
Positive, team-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic environment with flexibility to assist with special projects during high demand periods.
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time to visit McGee Stations.
Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance(s) as required
Must be at least 18 years or older
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
The pay band for this role is $67,725 - $94,516 annually.
The Hiring Target for this role is $75k - $85k annually.
