Summary
The Warehouse Associate performs all packing and shipping tasks in the warehouse's daily operation. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, the ability to work under minimal supervision, and the ability to lift or move heavy products or boxes up to twenty (20) lbs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receives all inbound product.
Double-checks loads for inventory agreement on both inbound and outbound trucks.
Re-packs skids and re-stocks pick areas as needed.
Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
Processes required paperwork for national truckloads.
Maintains relationships with delivering product to warehouse.
Schedules carrier for mixed loads.
Provides backup to pickers.
Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Requirements
Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must be able to provide proof of completion.
Two (2) years of warehouse or general labor experience
Ability to lift or move heavy products or boxes
Must possess basic mathematical skills; some computer skills a plus
Experience with inventory software a plus
Ability to learn how to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack or other warehouse equipment
