Corporate Director of Pharmacy

Position Summary:
The National Director of Pharmacy must be organized and able to develop a planned approach of facility program implementation including but not limited to; Formulary Compliance, Cost per patient day and Medication management program of the Company including day to day responsibility for all departments within the Company. This position must exhibit a high degree of professional excellence characterized by sound independent judgement, initiative, and a high standard of ethics.
The National Pharmacy Director directs, establishes, and plans the Corporation’s overall pharmacy policies and procedures and collaborates with Clinical Operations in the development of Pharmacy processes. The Director maintains frequent contact with the facility Directors of Pharmacy, Medical Staff, and Nursing Representation to determine departmental needs, resolve problems, improve processes, and promote Safe Medication Management within all Nobis Rehabilitation Hospitals.
Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
College degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Current state licensure from the State Board of Pharmacy
Minimum of five years of experience in a hospital setting with management and supervisory responsibility.
Desired Qualifications: Experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames
