Primary Purpose:
To contribute to the overall efficiency of the Nutrition Central Office.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High School graduate or GED required
Qualifies for appropriate state paraprofessional certification
Effective communication (oral and written)
Strong human relations - commitment to working as a team player
Computer literate - ability to produce spreadsheets using Excel and Word
Strong organizational proficiency
Basic math skills and ability to effectively use calculator
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively with parents and respond to telephone calls
Ability to work cooperatively with all stakeholders
Strong human relations - commitment to working as a team player
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and do word processing
Strong organizational proficiency
Basic math skills and ability to effectively use calculator
Experience:
2 years of clerical experience is preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Clerical Support
Answer telephone, as assigned, and handle messages as appropriate.
Participate in educational opportunities for personal and professional enrichment.
Tracks and maintains onsite reviews for SBP, NSLP, CACFP and SFSP.
Gathers CACFP weekly timesheets and enters time into master spreadsheet.
Follows up with Managers and Supervisors regarding missing timesheets.
Updates menu item standard costing in Primero for all menu items each summer.
Assists with catering revenue/billing in Primero.
Participates in educational opportunities for personal and professional enrichment. Maintain required professional standard hours.
Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Evaluation
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of paraprofessional personnel.
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals; district vehicle
Posture: Standing, prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching
Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (up to 20 pounds)
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent districtwide travel
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress

Salary Range Min-$23,087 Mid-$27,977 Max-$32,867 (Based on previous experience)

2023-2024 Salary Schedule
2024-2025 Salary Schedule is pending school board approval
Salary is based on working 187 days; working less days is less salary
