Description
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
Buying out contracts prior to breaking ground
Writing scopes of work for each of the trades
Writing contracts and ensuring all are compliant before construction begins
Creating and updating project schedules
Creating and managing project budgets
Carrying out site visits to ensure the project is on track according to the schedule, budget and scope
Producing reports on project performance and project costs
Material management
Creating and managing submittal logs
Handling RFI and Change Order processes
Managing and mentoring assistants
Profile
To be considered, you must have the following:
Experience in department of transport related construction projects - road building or widening, bridge construction or repair ideally
Experience as either a Lead Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager on DoT projects
Ability to use ProCore
Strong time management skills
Excellent communication skills
