Ayres Associates’ has been serving Wisconsin communities and private clients for over 50 years. You’ll be working with a growing group on a diverse variety of projects. As a new employee, you won’t just work anonymously on a conveyor belt of projects. Instead, you’ll interact and forge long-term relationships with clients so you can work towards creating solutions that solve their problems at a whole new level.

You will join a strong professional team in a collaborative atmosphere to develop proposals and support design efforts on private client projects. Your work will involve general site civil, including land development or redevelopment projects.

On a given day, you’ll:

Directs and/or designs plans, calculates, and prepares engineering documents in accordance with the latest prevailing codes

Prepares and monitors project budgets and responsible for project schedules and the timely completion of projects

Work with private clients for various site development

Prepare permit applications and submittals

Participate in presentations, interviews, and project and client meetings

Serve as a designated client contact

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Colorado Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain within 1 year

5-15 years of progressive experience designing land development projects

Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office

Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively independently and with other team members in multiple offices

Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Knowledge of applicable state and federal codes and standards related to civil improvement projects.

Our good-faith compensation approach is fair and equitable, and takes into consideration only permissible factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, training, skills, and experience, and geographic location where the work is performed. A salary range for this posting is $85,000-$130,000. The foregoing salary range represents what the company believes, in good-faith, it will pay for the posted opportunity. The individual selected for this role will be evaluated with the compensation factors in mind and placed appropriately.
