Job Description:

The Senior Operations Manager will report to the General Manager and assist with all supervisory duties in addition to ensuring program compliance. The Senior OperationsManagerwillwork onsite, as needed, at the client’s location and will actively communicate with the client as well as WeDriveU’s program management team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise the daily activities of all drivers and oversee the development and implementation of standard operating procedures as directed by the Client and WeDriveU companypolicies.

Ensure that all bus routes are constantly operating and adequately servicing the client’sneeds.

Make logistical coverage/staffing decisions and communicate them effectively to the rest of the team (drivers and client management)

Hire (interviews, road tests, training, etc.),train, anddevelop newdrivers.

Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies such as DOT, OSHA, and other state/local agencies.

Monitor and ensure compliance with safetyregulations.

Be active in all internal and externalaudits.

Analyze and interpret ridership numbers and suggest route changesaccordingly.

Review and approve biweeklytimecardsto limit meal break penalties and ensuring labor lawcompliance.

Support the development of company policy and procedures.

Skills Required and Physical Demands:

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to prove intermediate to advanced excelskills.

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and problemsolve.

Must be able to lift 25+ pounds, climb stairs and be on your feet for an extendedperiod.

Education and Qualifications:

Hard Requirements:

3 years or more of experience in Operations Management

Preferred Requirements:

Work experience in public or private alternative transportation demand management (TDM)

Experience and thorough knowledge of DOT and/or OSHA regulations

Licensed Class B driver (Passenger and Air brakes endorsement)

Prior knowledge of DMV policies and procedures
