Position Summary
The Graphic Designer plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company’s Marketing functions. The role is primarily responsible, under moderate to intermittent direction for providing graphic design content for internal and/or external marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to landing pages, social media, print, and email marketing.
Essential Functions
Serve as a member of the cross-functional group tasked with executing new opportunities to advance company objectives and marketing materials via multiple marketing channels like print, videos, email, web and social.
Act as a subject matter expert internally to other departments on inquiries and projects related to graphic design; ensure design standards are met.
Make independent on brand creative solutions and make recommendations for changes and improvements related to the organization’s marketing content.
Take direction from the Marketing Design Supervisor to implement strategic campaigns.
Design collateral pieces for marketing content for print, email, videos, web pages, social media, and any other digital channels, used in internal and external communications.
Consult with Field Marketing Managers on a regular basis to collect feedback, input and gather requirements around marketing.
Organize, update, and maintain content across multiple platforms.
Act as a design and branding expert internally to other departments on inquiries and projects to ensure design standards are met.
Become an expert on the Guild brand and advise the marketing team on brand standards.
Actively participate in and contribute to content strategy planning sessions
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor’s in Fine Arts or related degree, required.
Minimum of three years recent experience in graphic design role(s) helping to maintain branding standards.
Proficiency /experience with the Adobe Creative suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro and content management systems experience required. Working knowledge/experience in AfterEffects preferred but not required.
Familiarity with HTML and email design best practices preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and other internal communication tools.
Strong visual, infographic thinking, with the ability to present data in creative and compelling ways.
Strong grasp of social media best practices.
Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
Effective design set-up and presentation skills required.
Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to work and adapt processes in a fast-paced environment required.
Self-motivated with the ability to follow specific directions with a strong attention to detail.

Requirements
Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.
Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
Environmental: Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

Targeted Salary Range: $57,246.00 to $77,900.00 annually.
Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
