The Position As a Software Engineer at Foureyes, you will be responsible for collaborating across the product team to develop, advance, and maintain our cloud based applications that encompass the Foureyes suite of products to meet and exceed the requests from our growing customer base.

Responsibilities You are responsible for contributing in a team environment developing, maintaining, and testing our applications using a variety of programming languages across multiple cloud based services. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, you will monitor and evaluate system performance, design and implement new features, resolve bugs and other issues, write unit tests, and perform code reviews.

Researching, designing, implementing, and managing our applications and systems

Writing and implementing efficient, readable code Partnering with product management and other developers to define requirements and technical designs Troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions Testing and evaluating system efficacy Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications Determining operational practicality Developing according to quality assurance procedures Maintaining and upgrading existing systems Writing effective documentation

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: You are versatile and able to quickly (and often independently) learn new skills, languages, and technology You care about user experience and take pride in creating user-friendly software that solves their problems You have a strong understanding of applicable programing languages and frameworks You have a working knowledge of version control software, more specifically Git. You are a problem solver. You can understand the full scope of a problem and build a solution that addresses the need from start to finish. And you love to do it. You're detail oriented. You care about code quality. Our developers work as a team, and you take pride in writing code that other people love to work in. You get things done. You don't just solve problems. You find new ones and solve those too.

Education and Experience: You have a strong academic record (CS degree preferred but not required with relevant experience) You have a minimum of 2-3 years of professional full-stack development experience using NodeJS or Java, along with proficiency in industry-standard programming languages. Experience with federated GraphQL, AWS services, and interfacing with real-time databases.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $108,000
