Job Description

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager Contracts plays a pivotal role in providing guidance and support across all stages of prime agreements, ensuring adherence to CRDF Global policies and standards. Responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of prime agreements, this role places a strong emphasis on fostering collaboration and aiding stakeholders. The Senior Manager Contracts is tasked with adjusting procedures and utilizing appropriate tools to address project needs effectively. Additionally, nurturing relationships with both internal and external partners is paramount, alongside overseeing, and guiding staff to optimize team performance.

Major Responsibilities:

Oversee a portfolio of prime agreements, and support to ensure successful implementation and compliance.

Provide guidance and support to staff involved in prime agreement activities, promoting collaboration to achieve stated objectives.

Assist in the interpretation of prime agreements, collaborating with Program teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

Manage subcontract teams when acting as a Prime integrator, ensuring subcontractors effectively contribute to meeting prime agreement objectives.

Provide support for complex proposal activities, including offer design, pricing, development, and negotiations, aiming to achieve optimal outcomes.

Plan and assign prime agreement resources, leveraging ingenuity and creativity to address complex challenges and provide support as needed.

Establish direction for Prime Agreements, NDAs, and Teaming Agreements, fostering collaboration to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.

Develop negotiation strategies focused on obtaining the best value, delivery schedule, and terms while providing support to stakeholders.

Maintain regular communication with customers, establishing executive-level relationships and addressing concerns to ensure satisfaction.

Provide timely and high-quality support to internal customers, facilitating project success through collaboration and assistance.

Supervise and develop staff, including internal customers, to enhance team capabilities and provide effective support.

Implement policy and procedural enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of prime agreements, assisting in the development and implementation of new processes.

Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the organization through proactive assistance and support.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field.

8+ years of experience in assistance and acquisition administration and providing support throughout the award process.

Expert knowledge of assistance and/or acquisition processes and regulations for federal government agencies particularly with the Department of Defense, Department of State, and/or USAID preferred. Strong knowledge of the Global Supply Chain industry, strategic sourcing concepts, and best practices.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information.

Clear understanding of award types and regulations, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant policies.

Strong research and critical analysis skills, with an ability to identify solutions to complex problems.

Collaborative, friendly, and flexible work style, fostering positive working relationships.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new challenges.

High level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Working knowledge of Deltek/Costpoint Contracts module preferred.

Commitment to a values-driven and culturally diverse work environment.

Demonstrated training development and presentation skills.

Salary & Benefits: The base pay range for this position is $116,800 to 146,000. The determination of salaries in this job classification depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant candidate experience, job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills. In addition, we have a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; 403(b) retirement savings plan; unlimited paid time off; education reimbursement; student loan paydown and an in-network deductible reimbursement.
