About the Role
The Company is in need of a Vice President of Finance to take on a pivotal leadership role within its Space and Intelligence Business Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a large finance team, ensuring financial compliance, and playing a key role in the business management of the group. This includes implementing financial strategy, tracking performance against key metrics, and providing recommendations for process and financial improvements. The role also involves close collaboration with senior leadership and various functional areas across the organization. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of relevant experience in financial management or business operations, with a strong preference for those with a background in government contracting and the space and intelligence market community. Experience with Joint Ventures, software/hardware integration projects, scheduling, and EVMS is also preferred. The role requires expertise in quantitative analysis, proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and the ability to effectively communicate with leadership and stakeholders. The candidate should be a US citizen and be eligible to obtain a government security clearance, with TS/SCI with poly being preferred. Responsibilities also include supporting long-term strategic planning, providing data-driven analysis to the leadership team, and offering guidance on business, government, and customer policies and regulations.
