About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for a critical role in the Change and Program Management Risk Oversight Group. This second line of defense function is dedicated to evaluating change and program management risk within the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading independent assurance reviews, providing an independent assessment of project management processes, and offering insights into project management risk on both a firm and industry-wide level. Key responsibilities include in-depth reviews of projects to identify and understand execution risk, assessing the design of processes and controls, and supporting the review of frameworks, policies, and procedures that impact project risk.Applicants for this role at the company should have a strong background in operational risk management practices, program and project management, and a good understanding of how operational risk is measured and managed. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years' of experience in financial services, including a background in internal audit with a focus on complex processes or unique control issues. Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks, project management practices, and a proven track record in writing and reviewing standards, policies, and procedures are essential.
