Indiana University Health Physicians has an employment opportunity for a Pediatric General Surgeon to focus on clinical care and health science research. This Physician wouldjoin the Pediatric Surgery Group in Indianapolis at Riley Hospital for Children along with two other hospitals and 11 off-site locations! This surgical group isteam oriented, patient centered and energeticwhile being focused on education and achievingthe best outcomes.
Position Details:
Work collaboratively with a team of 9Surgeons and 12 AdvancedPractice Providers
Block scheduling with shared call amongst Surgeons; some clinicwork at nearby outreach locations
Routine procedures for pediatric general surgery and trauma
Protected research time towards pediatric surgery patient populations
10-20 procedures weekly
Qualifications:
Fellowship in Pediatric General Surgery Required
Board Eligible/Board Certified
MD, DO or equivalent education
Experiencein health science research
Able to obtain Indiana License
