Overview

Position Summary: The Child Life Specialist II demonstrates knowledge of Child Life assessments and interventions appropriate to the age and developmental level of the patients and families served. Actively collaborates with multidisciplinary team to advocate for patient and family needs. Demonstrates a commitment to family-centered care.

Minimum Qualifications: 1+ year of experience as a Child Life Specialist.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Child Life or related field.

Master's degree preferred.

Certified by the Child Life Certification Commission (CLCC)

Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification

Pay Scale Information

$52,208.00-$90,178.00

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
