Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is currently seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Weapon Systems to develop complex, state of the art weapon systems as part of the Advanced Programs team. You will work alongside program management, cross-functional teams of engineers, and senior technologists to execute all aspects of the Guidance Electronics Sensor & Integration Team comprising of sensor subsystem design, data analyses, interface verification, testing, and failure/anomaly resolution. The successful candidate will function as the Guidance Electronics Sensor Analyst for the SiAW Program, which calls for strong technical problem solving, analytical skills, and experience with data analysis and aggregation. The ideal candidate has extensive experience and knowledge of RF Sensors, radar signal processing system integration, integration, and testing of multiple subsystems.
Bachelor's degree in electrical or aerospace engineering or similar, with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience; Master's degree with three (3) years of related experience; PhD with zero (0) years of related experience
Current Active DoD Secret clearance or higher with a Periodic Reinvestigation within the last 5 years
Must have strong technical problem solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, and support component and system-level verification, data review activities, and requirements gap analyses
Willing to occasionally work during odd hours (nights/weekends) and occasionally longer than normal (40 hrs/wk) to meet deadlines
