A successful candidate is responsible for producing detailed telecommunication circuit designs and technical leadership and construction support related to circuit design activities directly supporting the control and protection of the Bulk Electric System. Responsibilities As a Telecommunication Specialist, you will: Analyze proposed communication circuits on PRD (project requirements diagram) and provides creative solutions to mitigate potential errors and conflicts in infrastructure design and circuit routings. Review and analyze data directly from telecommunications equipment for the purpose of updating project or system documentation. Provide telecom circuit technical interpretation of project requirements to project staff regarding the development of work statements. Develop advanced telecom circuit design strategies and methodologies, taking into account factors such as scalability, reliability, security, and performance optimization. Write, update, implement, and interpret policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of Operational Telecom TDM and Ethernet services; provides technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical issues; is a voting member of small teams responsible for recommendations that significantly influence Operational policies or programs.
