Responsibilities:
Marketing Project Coordination and Sales Support (50%)
Understand needs, requirements, and priorities of sales team/key stakeholders across B2C and B2B product lines.
Ensure timely and effective support of individual ad hoc sales requests, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and close collaboration with the marketing creative/digital services team via ticketing process.
Assist in creating sales materials, blogs, social posts, and other content for campaigns, events, sales pitches and other related activities.
Manage sales enablement tools (i.e., LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
Develop/maintain content and activity calendars.
Oversee the management of promotional materials and collateral by coordinating requirements, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts.
Assist with website updates as needed.
Events & Conferences (35%)
Manage the overall event calendar and budget and assist the Marketing Director with the development and coordination of yearly marketing plans.
Work with stakeholders in prioritizing events, defining goals and requirements, and setting the scope of participation.
Oversee planning and execution process for each event, liaising with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders to ensure everything is in order, on schedule, and within budget. Includes management of vendor contracts and deliverables.
Coordinate logistics and deliverables for trade shows, including booking venues, entertainers, photographers, and scheduling speakers; work with stakeholders to manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes; conduct final checks on the day of the event (e.g., tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards.
Assist in the execution of pre-and post-event campaigns and prospect outreach, including the creation and distribution of social posts and pre-show and post-show communications.
Support execution and process for capturing leads and contacts during the event.
Oversee preparation of all collateral and materials required for specific events.
Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems.
Assess each event’s success/ROI against objectives and report findings to the marketing director and business unit.
Provide regular monthly reporting on progress.
Create and maintain a knowledge base for this role.
Research and Insights (15%)
Conduct pre-sell client research; brainstorm and strategize new ideas to reach target audience.
Conduct research for new marketing trends, platforms and strategies
Assist with business, marketing and digital analytics in support of executive reporting and business strategy
Help monitor the competitive environment and notify marketing team of any competitive threats
Assist with managing and sharing of industry-generated research, surveys and reports
Monitor industry news/PR and share important developments with team
Contribute to the identification and research of operational opportunities for the organization including tools, resource needs, and process gaps, and assist with development and implementation of solutions
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications or Journalism, or equivalent with demonstrated professional experience.
Required Experience:
Minimum of three years related experience in a corporate environment.
Technology Requirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
Ability to use programs to capture, size, and import screenshots and graphics into documentation
Ability to utilize and manage version control; likewise keep company document files current, up-to-date and organized
Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Operations:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS, timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.

Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday
Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
