Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
Generate regular financial reports for management review.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Contribute to the development of annual budgets.
Assist in forecasting financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and assist with the filing of various tax returns.
Stay informed about changes in tax regulations affecting the company.
Requirements:
Experience:
Experience in accounting roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability:
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Local Knowledge:
Familiarity with local tax regulations and accounting practices in Oregon.
