Job Summary

The Supervisor, Account Manager will lead Account Managers while being responsible for generating sales in multi-family units in their respective assigned region. This includes networking with MDU property managers, assistant managers, leasing agents, and other property staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed below are a range of duties performed by the employee and not intended to reflect all duties performed.

Lead a team of 5-12 Account Managers in daily activity and sales performance.

Drive sales strategies in multi-family properties that will increase awareness and penetration rates through the Account Managers.

Oversee and review Account Managers in hosting various community events within MDU properties, in an effort to get customers to sign-up for Ziply Fiber services

Manage activity levels including regular property visits to all MDU’s in assigned region, documenting key learnings.

Participate in e-learning, classroom sales training, and associated curriculum in tandem with Sales Trainer

Insure Account Managers meet and exceed monthly sales performance expectations

Marketing team collaboration; offer strategy & communication, collateral material creation & distribution

Perform financial responsibilities to include operational expense tracking, processing mileage reimbursements, logging event expenses, and others

Monitor industry developments (technical, regulatory, and otherwise) and apply critical thinking for strategic and customer impact analysis

Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years of sales management or account management experience – OR – current or prior military service

Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service in a calm, professional manner

Must be enthusiastic, persuasive, persistent, and be able to handle rejection in the selling process well

Must have reliable transportation

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and be a self-starter

Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information

Ability to deal with the public professionally

Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to a variety of situations

Ability to drive on behalf of the company in a safe and responsible manner

Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules

Excellent customer service skills

Work Environment And Additional Information

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work is primarily a modern office setting.
