**Position Overview:**
The Inventory Control Specialist position will provide onsite logistical and building maintenance support. The Material Handler must have good customer service skills. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software, will support the successful candidate. The ability to work independently and be a responsible self-starter is essential for success in this position.
**Essential Functions:**
* Work under direction of warehouse lead
* Pulling and issuing material for construction and maintenance projects
* Inspecting material
* Transferring material
* Replenishing material
* Processing orders
* Performing quality control
* Performing inventory auditing/accounting functions
* Performing routine maintenance
* Preparing for disposal of materials
* Recycling and salvaging materials
* Operating forklift
* Assisting in emergency restoration
* Supporting other warehouse workloads as required
* Performing general housekeeping, cleaning and sweeping daily or as needed
* Banding transformers
* Data entry
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software
**Physical Demands:**
* Stand for long periods of time
* Able to lift up to 50 pounds over 2/3 of the time
* Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
* Work in outdoor weather conditions
