**Position Description & Details**
Mayville State University Child Development Programs is hiring an Education Inclusion Manager who is responsible for managing the education and disbility component areas This supervisory position provides advisory services to staff regarding education, behavior, mental health, and disability classroom needs and professional development needs. This position must have great communication and organizational skills. Duties include, but are not limited to: managing the education and disability component areas for all sites, managing the mental health and behavior component areas, and overseeing and providing classroom staff professional development. Applicants may receive financial assistance in obtaining continuing education. CDP employees may qualify for student loan forgiveness.

**Position Details:** 12 month; full-time (40 hours/week)
**Required Competencies**
* Be an adult of good physical, cognitive, social, and emotional health, and shall use mature judgment when making decisions impacting the quality of child care
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
* Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, and oral)
* Experience working with diverse populations

**Minimum Requirements**
* **Qualifying degrees (if not qualified, must be willing to become qualified):**
+ BA ECE ***AND*** Minor or Specialization in Special Needs or 16 credits of related coursework
+ BSED ECE ***AND*** Minor or Specialization in Special Needs or 16 credits of related coursework
+ BSED Elem Ed with ECE Minor ***AND*** Minor or Specialization in Special Needs or 16 credits of related coursework
+ BSED Elem Ed with willingness to obtain ECE Minor ***AND*** Minor or Specialization in Special Needs or 16 credits of related coursework
+ Degrees in Child Development and Family Sciences may be acceptable ***AND*** Minor or Specialization in Special Needs or 16 credits of related coursework
* Two years experience in a supervisory/management position
* Experience working with children birth to age 5 and their families
* Training and experience in securing and individualizing needed services for children with disabilities
* Valid Drivers License
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with Head Start/Early Head Start regulations
* Degree in Special Needs
