Based at our corporate headquarters in south Denver (I-25 & Colorado Blvd), we are seeking a high-energy Supply Chain Coordinator to support Tuff Shed's field organization by coordinating purchasing and logistics activities throughout the organization. This includes working with 3rd party Distribution Centers (DC) aka "Reloads", to validate inventory levels and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to Tuff Shed manufacturing facilities.
HYBRID WORK OPTION
(2-days home / 3-days in office)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Act as the primary liaison between Tuff Shed manufacturing facilities and 3 rd party DC to coordinate the appropriate delivery of raw materials
Maintain relationships with DC operators to ensure proper operating relationship, including timely and accurate inventory reporting
Report current inventory levels at DC locations including existing inventory, inbound and committed inventory levels to allow for proper purchasing efforts
Anticipate outages based on forecast data and consumption rates to alert management of areas of concern
Process purchase orders for all nationally purchased items
Work with 3 rd party logistics vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials while controlling expenses
Coordinate facility-to-facility transfers to ensure proper raw material levels at all locations
Assist in coordinating product returns from manufacturing locations
Tracking, reporting on, and providing coordination of other purchases and POs done by our stores, regional teams, and NSC
Performing all other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Tuff Shed management
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management/Logistics strongly preferred, or equivalent experience
SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE:
Previous experience working in Supply Chain, Procurement or Logistics environments preferred
Experience with Inventory accounting principles such as FIFO and standard costing preferred
Ability to work in a high paced, high volume operational environment supporting remote facilities and employees
Demonstrated ability to facilitate professional working relationships among employee, peer and support groups
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization from C-Suite to front line employee via email, text, presentation and verbal means
Experience using common business software products such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and project management/CRM/financial software (ie, Salesforce, JDE)
Ability to solve problems using sound logic, good business judgement and being able to justify resolution
Ability to use arithmetic, mathematical, accounting and financial tools in order to solve business problems
Ability to understand, analyze and dissect complex data sets to identify trends and make recommendations to executive leadership
