Job Title: Executive Director/Clinical Director Recovery Center
Location: Los Gatos, CA
Compensation: $120,000 per year/Plus bonus structure
The Clinical Director is responsible for leading the clinical team and administering excellent patient care to those with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). This position will be involved in supervising the clinical staff, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring the facility adheres to policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
Oversees the daily clinical operations and ensures compliance with agency policies, procedures, and governmental standards and regulations.
Provides case consultation, file reviews, and treatment plan reviews of counselors and assigned interns.
Plans, develops, implements, and administers the treatment content in collaboration with the Executive Director.
Assign counselors, interns, and support staff to program units and cases.
Designs and implements business strategies to assist the facility in realizing business goals. Supervises counselors to ensure their adherence to treatment modalities chosen by the center.
Ensures staff maintenance of accurate and current records on each client according to the facility's procedure.
Coordinates with oversight agencies to ensure the quality of care.
Performs introductory and annual employee reviews and provides feedback on their performance to help motivate their dedication to professional goals.
Conducts performance evaluations, coaches, and provides feedback to employees.
Reviews client records for quality of treatment documentation and planning.
Conducts clinical staff meetings and training.
Provides clinical supervision to the clinical staff.
Has the ability to be on-call for clinical emergencies/consultations when absent from the facility.

Qualifications
Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules or policy and procedure manuals.
Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to apply common sense understanding carrying out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to be flexible in relation to department needs.
Education, Experience, Skills
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, in public health, education, or social sciences, or a minimum of five (5) years working as an LPC/LCSW counselor.
Minimum 1+ years’ experience providing clinical supervision.
Understanding of mental health issues and how they impact recovery.
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Experience with substance use disorder and Licensed Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) certification preferred.
Must have or, within 60 days from hire, be able to obtain a current First Aid and CPR card.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
Work Setting: Indoors, environmentally controlled.
Body Positioning: Spend time sitting and standing, making repetitive motions, and spend time using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Frequently lift or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Communication: Contact with others, electronic mail, in-person discussions, public speaking, telephone, and video.
