Overview The Cleanroom Associate Engineer is responsible for managing the interior finishing phase of cleanroom construction. The ideal candidate will oversee progress and proactively identify, investigate, diagnose, and prioritize issues that arise. You will effectively utilize your full building systems knowledge and troubleshooting methods to make recommendations on how to improve efficiency, etc., in regular status reports. In addition, you will collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
Responsibilities Manage and oversee the construction of interior finishing of cleanroom.
Solve problems, related to interior finishing of cleanroom, with internal or external stakeholders.
Review progress reports, materials used and costs, and contract payment applications and adjust work schedules as indicated.
Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms with specifications and assure adherence to construction schedules.
Perform requirements classification, communicate project requirements, and design review with internal & external design team.
Perform the required scope of work and clarify specifications with stakeholders.
Work with Procurement team on equipment and materials procurement and contractor award process.
Understand and interpret P&ID and CAD drawing specifications.
Review & process RFI’s (Request for Information) and change orders.
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal use and client communications.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with the structural design of a semiconductor cleanroom, pharmaceutical manufacturer, or similar builds.
