This position requires working every other weekend.
As our Call Center Representative (CSR), you will help us build our new Contact Center to support our patients, hospitals, employees, and physicians. The Contact Center is our communication hub linking our internal and external callers. In addition, we'll provide you with training on our systems & processes.
Every day you will have a direct impact on the patient experience. You will handle each call with care, escalate when needed (monitor & respond to life safety events), and you will be prepared to handle 300+ calls during your shift (average call is 23 seconds). You'll quickly determine how to route each call, treat them with kindness and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Job starting @ $14.14/hr - $18.00hr (depending on experience + shift differentials)

**Responsibilities**
* Answer all inbound calls
* Maintains proficiency in the use of telecommunications hardware and software and PBX platform as well as multiple IT applications.
* Initiates response to codes and emergency alarms
* Makes emergency announcements
* Proper use of communication tools/materials for effective communication and understanding how the culture(s) of patient populations can affect communication, collaboration, and the provision of care, treatment, and services.
**Qualifications**
Required:
1-year related experience (customer service environment)
Preferred:
previous Healthcare experience
