Information Systems Security Architect, Lead The Opportunity:

Everyone knows security needs to be "baked in" to a system and cloud architecture, but you know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyberengineering and architectureskills to lead the design and development of secure cloud systems forthe DoD? We're looking for anarchitectwho can create secure cloud solutions forthe DoDthat will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats.

As a leadcyber cloud engineer and solutions architectat Booz Allen, you'lldesign secure cloud solutions to support mission-critical operations. You'll coordinate work withCSPs and internal R&D and delivery teamsto identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer's IT needs and goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you'll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll guide the team through a critical approach to network and cloud design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security andmissionneeds.

You'll oversee efforts to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices likezero-trust solutions and multi-cloud deliveries.You'll broaden your skillset into areas likeedge security,while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to use cybersecurity solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges.

You Have:

10+ years of experience in information security with a focus on cloud security architecture

3+ years of experience delivering holistic cloud security solutions with platforms such as AWS or Azure

Experience with security standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Benchmarks

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and their native security tools

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and solutions, including encryption, authentication, intrusion detection, and firewalls

Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to lead security practitioners or cross-functional teams supporting complex cloud security deliveries

TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor's degree

DoD 8140 IAM III Certification such as CISSP Certification

Nice If You Have:

Experience delivering multi-cloud solutions in complex government environments

Knowledge of secure cloud scripting processes such as HashiCorp or Terraform

Ability to lead teams across multiple services, in dynamic and varying compliance and security environments

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Master's degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Cloud Security Certification, including CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, or AWS Security Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
