Job Summary

This position provides analytical and program implementation support in a dual role for the Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) departments. The primary responsibilities include the collection and analysis of compliance and risk-related data to discover trends for continuous improvement or corrective measures and provide insight to help leaders make risk informed decisions. The position will also identify, develop, and leverage new and existing tools to enhance analysis and reporting capabilities and achieve operational efficiency.

The position will support the Compliance and ERM teams in identifying and implementing best practices and strategic initiatives, as well as develop, administer and maintain new tools, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws. The position will also support other departments' use of existing compliance tools, including supporting Human Resources and Employee Relations.

Job Responsibilities

* Managing compliance systems, performance monitoring, implementation, and operational support of information technology systems (such as SAI 360) for the Compliance department,* Making recommendations to changes/updates to systems to meet the business needs.* Supporting the data collection, development, and maintenance of enterprise risk profiles.* Identifying and document appropriate and actionable risk mitigation plans.* Developing and maintaining risk registers with mitigation plans; tracking and reporting status of mitigations.* Using technologies (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) to build and enhance risk and compliance data analysis and reporting.* Conducting data analysis to look for trends, correlation between concerns and compliance initiatives, etc. to drive future compliance initiatives.* Preparing reports that provide insights to senior leaders and the Board of Directors on risk and compliance information.* Performing related responsibilities, as assigned

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

* Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance, computer science, data analytics or similar/related field.* Minimum of 5 years of business/financial, computer science or data analytics experience or similar/related field.* Demonstrated systems/technical expertise.* Quick learner with strong analytical, strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.* Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills.* Expert in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; proficient in PowerBI.* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills.* Solid project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, lead cross-functional teams, and direct other associates.* Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.* Ability to develop rapport and interact professionally with all levels of the company.

Desired:

* Master's degree.* Minimum of 8 years of computer science or data analytics experience or similar/related field.* SAI 360 (or similar GRC tool) experience.* Utility or energy industry experience.* Experience in ERM, operational risk, IT/cyber risk, model risk, or other function assessing risks, or experience in other assurance functions (e.g. internal audit, compliance, fraud mitigation, etc.).
