Description
The Adjunct Faculty will perform instructional responsibilities. Must demonstrate teaching skills by selecting and implementing instructional strategies for teaching and assessing student achievement of the learning objectives in an online program.
Examples of Duties
Teach online courses for the Community Health Worker Program.
Instruct, advise, consult with and evaluate the performance of enrolled students.
Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, course reference/bibliography, assignments, tests, and other course materials.
Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and/or other documentation as required.
Typical Qualifications Associate's degree in Community Health/related or, Bachelors in Nursing, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, Health Education, or Community Health.
Must have 2-3 Years of Related Occupational Experience.
Minimum of one (1) year teaching experience.
Must have training in teaching online.
Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

STATUS/SALARY: This is an Adjunct Faculty position. Salary is determined by the South Suburban College Adjunct Faculty Association Agreement.
