Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Technical Designer in Pasadena, CA to own the day‑to‑day execution and production of architectural and interior design drawings. Collaborating with our creative and technical teams, you will translate conceptual design intent into detailed, accurate deliverables across all project phases—from Design Development through Construction Documents. Candidates must possess advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit skills and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Drawing Production: Develop and refine clear, highly accurate drawings through Design Development and Construction Documents.

Documentation & Coordination: Document design intent accurately and coordinate with technical consultants to ensure high-quality, efficient execution.

Problem Solving: Think critically to resolve technical challenges and contribute thoughtful solutions during the development phases.

Project Support: Provide technical expertise to maintain the original design vision from project initiation through completion.

Qualifications & Skills

Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required. Will need to be comfortable with Sketchup. Proficiency with Adobe Creative is preferred.

Industry Experience: Familiarity with architectural project management and Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation for commercial, retail, hospitality and/or customer‑facing spaces.

Work Experience: Minimum 3‑5 years experience required.

Work Style: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Attitude: A resilient, positive, and 'can‑do' attitude when working under pressure and across all task levels—from conceptual design to basic production. A self‑starter who also knows when to ask the right questions.
