Oracle DBALocation: NYC/Chicago Type: 6 Months contractWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with a strong background in PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, and general SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing database environments across multiple platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.Key Responsibilities:Administer and maintain Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, and performance tuningManage and support PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MySQL databasesEnsure database security, backups, and disaster recovery planningMonitor database performance and implement improvementsCollaborate with development and infrastructure teams on database design and optimizationRequirements:5+ years of experience as a DBA with hands-on Oracle experienceProficiency in PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, and SQL scriptingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience with backup/recovery tools and techniquesFamiliarity with Linux/Unix environments
