Senior Wcs EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior WCS Engineer to lead and support development efforts on WCSbased ecommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in enterprise Java development and a strong understanding of WCS subsystems along with experience in modern architectural patterns including microservices and cloudnative deployments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign develop and maintain scalable ecommerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce WCSLead implementation and customization of WCS subsystems Catalog Order Member Promotions and SearchCollaborate with crossfunctional teams to define technical solutions aligned with business goalsDevelop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between servicesContribute to the migration and modernization of legacy WCS components into microservices architectureSupport deployment and monitoring of applications in cloudnative environments eg AWS Azure GCPProvide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineersRequired Skills ExperienceMinimum 8 years of handson experience in IBM WCS developmentStrong proficiency in JavaJ2EE JSP Servlets and Spring FrameworkIndepth knowledge of WCS subsystems Catalog Order Member Promotions SearchExperience with RESTful API design and integrationFamiliarity with microservices architecture and containerization Docker KubernetesExposure to cloudnative deployments and CICD pipelinesExcellent problemsolving and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with headless commerce or MACH architectureKnowledge of DevOps practices and tools Jenkins Git TerraformIBM WCS certification is a plus
