Come explore Novanta.As an Assembler I, you will be responsible for assembling products according to specifications. You will also need to ensure that the quality control standards are met.The hourly pay range for this role is $17.26 to $25.82. Pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, and education.Primary ResponsibilitiesAble to read, understand, and adhere to work instructions, BOMs, and assembly drawingsUsage of hand tools properly and safelyMechanical assembly of products within acceptable quality and output levelsInspect product and properly identify non-conformanceProperly operate pass/fail test equipment (ALTF, PD Test, etc.)Cleanliness and workstation clean up through SS standardsFollow site requirements for disposal of recyclable materials and hazardous wasteRequired Experience, Education, Skills, Training and CompetenciesTeam player with strong computer, written, verbal and skillsPrevious experience with opto-electronics and PCB commoditiesWorking experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma environmentsBasic knowledge and practice of ESD and 5S principlesSafety and chemical awarenessTravel RequirementsNonePhysical RequirementsStanding for long periods of timeAbility to lift boxes up to 25 poundsNovanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
