Job Title: Sr. Software QA EngineerLocation: Newton, MA, 02466Duration: 12 MonthsJob Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: OnsiteShift: 08:00 AM To 05:00 PMJob Description: We are currently looking for an ambitious Sr. Software QA Engineer (Contractor) to join our Endovascular Robotics business within Advanced Therapies. We are a global technology leader in robotic-assisted vascular interventions. We believe the combination of endovascular robotics, image guidance and dedicated devices will change the way neurovascular procedures will be done in the future, enabling better outcomes, and enabling our customers to provide better access to care. As a Sr. Software QA Engineer (Contractor) you will be responsible for: Develop, document, and execute test cases for application and embedded software. Identify, document, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues using bug tracking systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to understand requirements. Analyze test results, provide feedback to engineering teams, and suggest improvements to enhance software performance and reliability. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with client: Experience in testing safety-critical software systems preferred (e.g., automotive, medical devices). Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA) and practices for medical software development (IEC 62304) preferred. Required skills to have for the success of this role: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field. 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on application software and hardware systems. Familiar understanding of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, Serial, and UART. Familiar with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python for automation testing. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
