Host/Marketing AssistantAt Heyday, we believe every day should be your Heyday. We happen to start with skin. Heyday Houston is looking for a Host/Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a hybrid, client-facing role that combines the day-to-day responsibilities of a Heyday Host with hands-on experience supporting our local marketing efforts. This position is ideal for a current marketing student or someone early in their marketing career who wants real-world experience in social media, content creation, influencer marketing, events, partnerships, and local brand marketing. Reports to: Lead Front of House and Marketing Coordinator.Host + Client ExperienceCreate a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience for every client.Manage client check-in, checkout, scheduling, rebooking, and retail transactions.Answer client calls, texts, and questions.Educate clients on Heyday services, memberships, enhancements, products and current promotions.Make thoughtful product and membership recommendations based on client needs.Support Skin Therapists and the front-of-house team throughout the client journey.Maintain an organized, clean, and client-ready shop environment.Assist with product restocking, retail, organization and other daily shop responsibilities.Help maintain Heyday's overall aesthetic, atmosphere, and service standards.Marketing SupportAssist the Marketing Coordinator with executing local marketing campaigns and initiativesCapture photos and short-form video of services, products, team members, events and everyday shop activityAssist with creating content for Instagram, social media, promotions and other digital platformsIdentify organic content opportunities happening within the shopsHelp Coordinate and prepare for influencer appointments and collaborationsAssist with local events, pop-ups, client events, and community activationsSupport event setup, guest engagement, content capture and breakdownResearch potential Houston businesses, creators, events and partnership opportunitiesAssist with creating and updating flyers, signage, promotional materials and other marketing collateralHelp organize photo, video, event and marketing assetsStay aware of relevant social media trends, local events, and community opportunities.Complete assigned marketing projects and communicate progress, opportunities, and roadblocks.Who We're Looking ForCreative, organized, and proactiveStrong customer service and communication skillsInterested in marketing, social media, branding, beauty skincare, or wellnessComfortable taking photos and capturing short-form, video contentFamiliar with Instagram, Canva, and current social media trendsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow projects through completionAble to balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable taking initiative while also working within established direction and prioritiesProfessional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with clients, team members, influencers, and community partnersFlexible to work a non-traditional retail schedule, including weekends and occasional scheduled eventsCurrently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field is a plus, but not required. This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchise. Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
