This role will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, payroll oversight, billing operations, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional who can balance day-to-day financial management with high-level business support.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect all accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and billing functions.Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Prepare financial statements, analyze business performance, and provide recommendations to leadership.Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans.Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.Maintain relationships with external auditors, banking partners, and tax professionals.Support leadership with financial planning, decision-making, and operational analysis.Evaluate financial processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.Supervise and mentor accounting staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.CPA designation is a plus.Experience within a professional services environment preferred.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.Background overseeing accounting operations, billing, receivables, and payroll.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience with accounting, ERP, or financial management systems.Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands-on capacities.
