Warehouse Supervisor

LHH is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a warehousing and distribution client in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will lead a warehousing team which distributes products across the US, implement process improvements, and assist with the continual growth of the organization. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $67,000-70,000 per year plus bonus and includes a comprehensive benefit package, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, plan, and oversee all site operations during your assigned shift which include oversight of the warehouse, inventory control, personnel leadership, and customer expectations
• Coordinate all operational activities required for timely and efficient distribution of products to a diverse customer base
• Responsible for the storage, inventory management, and distribution of finished goods
• Maintain accurate inventory transaction records by completing daily cycle counts and performing root cause analysis to identify and prevent future non-conformance issues
• Ensure maximum return on investment through effective operational performance and the successful completion of assigned projects
• Administer performance management program
• Evaluate and recommend training resources to support employee development
• Follow corporate policies to meet both short and long term goals regarding safety, performance, and compliance
• Maintain adherence to health and safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of operations supervision experience within a warehousing and/or distribution environment is required
• Must have experience working with an ERP and/or WMS system (i.e. Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie, etc.)
• Must have experience resolving/preventing safety-related issues and recordables in a warehousing and/or distribution setting
• Must possess the ability to maintain high level of detail and integrity while executing responsibilities
• Must have experience partnering with colleagues at all levels of an organization to drive priorities
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
