Key Responsibilities

Conduct individual therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring a personalized approach for each client.

Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of clients.

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and clinical observations using our secure electronic health record system.

Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate care for clients and enhance treatment outcomes.

Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation meetings to continue developing clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.

Support clients through various life challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management, adapting therapeutic strategies as required.

Actively participate in ongoing training programs, workshops, and seminars to remain updated on the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at The Center For Stress & Anxiety, Ltd, you will work with a diverse population of clients seeking help for various emotional and psychological difficulties. Our clients include individuals dealing with acute stress, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma-related issues. You will tailor your therapeutic approach to accommodate clients' unique backgrounds and experiences, ensuring they receive personalized and effective treatment.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree in these fields is preferred.

An active LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in the state of Arizona is mandatory.

Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a strong foundation in clinical practice.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a rapport with clients quickly.

Strong ethical framework and an understanding of HIPAA regulations relevant to client privacy and confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, providing therapy to diverse client populations.

Experience with teletherapy or remote counseling services is highly desirable.

A background in trauma-informed care or specialized therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
