Developer-Full Stack Senior

This is a multifaceted role combining development expertise, end-user technology proficiency, and technical evangelism. The focus is on designing, building, and advocating for developer workspaces and tooling to enable seamless developer onboarding and day-2 support.

Location: Plano TX or McLean, VA - Experience the vibrant and diverse culture of McLean, VA, while working onsite with a dynamic team.

Salary Range: $160K–$170K

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Python and Java development

Strong understanding of design principles

Ability to explain designs and solutions clearly

Experience in educating other developers

Proven experience in development and end-user technology

Excellent communication and advocacy skills

Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with CI/CD improvements

Knowledge of SCCM, VDI, or similar technologies

Experience integrating Generative AI capabilities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design and implement developer workspaces using physical, virtualized, or browser-based solutions

Develop tools primarily in Python and Java to enhance developer workflows

Advocate for and implement CI/CD improvements through new tooling and commonly available libraries

Create patterns to manage desktop provisioning and software package management

Lead initiatives to integrate Generative AI capabilities into developer workflows

Partner with end-user collaboration suites to create seamless developer experiences

Ensure all solutions meet audit, risk, and governance requirements

Evangelize best practices and solutions within the developer community
