Job Description

HR Assistant / Front Desk CoordinatorWe are actively hiring for the position of HR Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator for our plant in Arlington, TX.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMSalary: $18.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWelcome applicants, employees, vendors, and visitors; determine needs and notify appropriate contacts.Answer routine applicant, visitor, and employee questions; escalate complex matters as needed.Maintain confidential electronic personnel files and HR records, including I-9s, personnel actions, onboarding, medical, and termination documents.Support recruiting and onboarding, including candidate communication, background-screen requests, new-hire materials, documentation, filing, and data entry.Coordinate assigned employee training, including scheduling, communication, tracking, and recordkeeping.Prepare the monthly site newsletter and support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and site events.Run and distribute assigned HR reports, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Support employee-relations investigations by taking notes, coordinating attendance, and directing employees to meetings as requested.Maintain HR storage areas, monitor inventory, issue approved supplies, and update related records.Provide administrative support for HR projects, audits, and other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.At least one year of administrative, human resources, customer service, clerical, or receptionist experience preferred.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, applicants, visitors, and vendors.Experience using ADP or a comparable HRIS preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience using SharePoint preferred.Strong organizational, recordkeeping, time-management, and follow-through skills with close attention to detail.Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional, service-oriented approach.Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.Ability to exercise sound judgment, recognize when a matter requires escalation, and meet established deadlinesPerks and BenefitsCollaborate with leading print professionals in a fast-paced, high-tech, safe, and enjoyable environmentCompetitive pay and growth opportunities.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage (location-specific).Employer match 401(k) up to limits.Company-sponsored Life and AD&D Insurance.Flexible Spending Account and voluntary benefits.Paid holidays and PTO.Employee discounts on all products.Company-sponsored training and certifications.Fun workplace and wellness events, and morePlease note: Actual compensation within the range will depend on various factors including the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
