Computer Support Technician (HELP) - Cortland County Information Technology Work Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week, with benefits

Location : Cortland County Information Technology

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Either:

(a) Possession of Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field; OR

(b) Possession of a high school diploma or equivalency diploma and two (2) years of full-time, paid experience, or its part-time equivalent, in the operation of a computer which shall have involved diagnosing and/or preventive maintenance of hardware, software and related peripheral equipment; or

(c) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b), or other experience that can demonstrate the ability to perform all duties

NOTE:

Degree must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education / U.S. Secretary of Education. If the degree was awarded by an educational institution outside of the United States and its territories, applicant must provide independent verification of equivalency.
