.Net Developer

Net DeveloperLooking for a web application developer with at least six years of experience to help develop and maintain web-based business applications. The applications are primarily finance and/or reporting related. The development environment is ASP.Net/VB.Net with a MS SQL Server backend. The developer will be expected to work within a small team and initially work on projects to remediate two applications to correct ADA/Jaws issues.Responsibilities:Developing.Net applications in an ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, IIS, and MS SQL Server environmentDeveloping reports using SSRSProficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, Visual Studio and BootstrapExperience working with Azure DevOpsExperience working in a SAFe Agile Development environmentSolid experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, using business intelligence (BI) tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik Sense or other)Strong experience with analytical and problem-solving skillsThe ability to review/proof all code to ensure error-free functionalityThe ability to meet scheduled delivery dates as defined by the managerCommunicates progress regularly against scheduled delivery datesStrong organizational, presentation, and customer service skillsQualifications:Minimum 6 years of software development experience using ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, IIS, and MS SQL ServerProficiency with MVC architectureProficiency in SQL Server database development techniquesProficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualizationExperience writing web applications to predefined UI and coding standardsProficiency with MS Office tools and MS TeamsExcellent writing, speaking, and interpersonal skillsMust be self-motivated, well organized and have strong communication skillsWell-developed critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability as a flexible, process-oriented, logical thinker and team player
