Network AdministratorGeneral Overview: The Network Administrator should have extensive experience maintaining large-scale computer systems, the ability to project manage, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Ultimately, a top-level IT engineer can design and maintain a dynamic and stable system to perfectly meet the needs of the company. RESPONSIBILITIES:Meeting with the Network supervisor to discuss network needsDesigning, installing and configuring computer network hardwareTroubleshooting network and software issuesInstalling high-level software security systemsTraining staff on newly installed hardware and software systemsFixing hardware, software, and networking issuesResponding to general IT requestsEnsuring security software is kept up to dateFiling monthly reports for the IT ManagerMaintaining IDFs organized and cleanMaintaining Monitoring systems (Nagios, nginx, others)ISP tickets submit, follow, escalate, co-workMonitoring systems for failuresMaintaining documentation as is Procedures, Policies, FormsREQUIREMENTS: Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldPreferred Certifications: CCNA, CCNP or any other Cisco certificationExperience and Skills:CCNA, CCNP or any other cisco certification preferredHigh knowledge about ISO layers,Core Networking Knowledge:High knowledge about ISO layersHigh understanding of DHCP, DNS, and Network MasksUse of network sniffers like Wireshark, tcpdump or otherNetwork routing understandingCybersecurity sense.FortiGate additional explicit requirements:Policies management managingWeb Filtering managingIPS managingAV managingHA managingWireless AP managingBackup and restore configurationCisco additional explicit requirements:VTP managingSTP managingQoS ManagingBack-up/restore configurationIOS upgrade/downgradeStack managingHSRP managingTclsh (is a plus)Personal Attributes:High sense of urgency and responsivenessResponsible, dependable, and proactive in system managementSecurity Requirements: A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be signed at the contract signature time
