SDC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art warehouse facility. Our recently renovated and expanded warehouse provides a great work environment. Warehouse Associates pick, pack and ship Genuine Subaru Parts and Accessories to 68 regional Subaru retailers in New York and Northern New Jersey.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack and ship ordered items to Subaru retailers.

Receives and stocks inbound orders while noting the quantity and any discrepancies in quantities, as well as recording any damages.

Utilize various types of top-of-the-line equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks and electric picking carts.

Utilize RF scanners to accurately process inbound and outbound orders.

Maintain a consistent work schedule: 7:00AM to 3:30PM and/or 10:30AM to 7:00PM work schedule (Monday through Friday) with regular overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Perform inventory cycle counts at a high level of accuracy.

Conduct daily cleaning and safety inspections on equipment and facility.

Execute miscellaneous tasks and special assignments as required.

Skills/Qualifications

Highly organized and able to multitask.

Team-oriented.

Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time & walking long distances.

Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

Experience with various types of warehouse equipment.

Possess a valid driver’s license.

High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Adequate hearing and vision capabilities to perform duties safely and effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Warehouse experience preferred, but not essential.

Experience operating forklifts, order pickers and reach trucks desirable.
