Job Description

Company vehicle provided Support for professional certifications and training Exposure to large-scale NCDOT and transportation projects Opportunities to take on more responsibility as you gain experience Stable project pipeline with long-term career potential Collaborative team environment with experienced mentors What You'll Do Assist with construction inspection activities on roadway and transportation projects Observe and document construction progress and field conditions Verify work is being completed in accordance with project plans and specifications Perform or assist with materials testing, including asphalt, concrete, and soil testing Complete daily reports and project documentation Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project personnel Promote safety and quality standards on active job sites Travel to project locations as needed What We're Looking For Construction, engineering, materials testing, surveying, or related field experience preferred Interest in transportation, infrastructure, or civil construction projects Ability to communicate effectively and maintain accurate documentation Valid driver's license Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Desire to learn, develop new skills, and grow within the industry Preferred Experience Construction inspection or materials testing experience Roadway, utility, site development, or transportation project experience Familiarity with NCDOT projects or specifications Existing certifications, including NCDOT, ACI, or related industry credentials Build Your Next Step This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys field work, wants exposure to complex infrastructure projects, and is looking for a company that invests in employee development. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be

subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
