Summary

The 10-week paid summer internship at Blum Construction Company provides hands‑on experience in commercial construction, including field work, supervision, management, preconstruction, and Virtual Design and Construction. Interns apply classroom knowledge, develop problem‑solving and communication skills, and participate in training, team building, and networking opportunities. Positions are available across Asheville, the Triad, and the Triangle, with competitive hourly pay plus a monthly housing/gas stipend.

What to Expect

Orientation: Kick off at the Blum Headquarters in Winston‑Salem

Networking & Social Events: Connect with Blum employees and fellow interns through regional family and intern socials throughout the summer

Professional Development: Participate in an intern seminar focused on The Life Cycle of a Blum Project in the Triad

Capstone Experience: Wrap up the internship with a capstone presentation and celebration dinner at the Blum Headquarters
