U.S. citizenship required.About the RoleWe are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to install, configure, and integrate prototype applications in a secure lab environment supporting customer experimentation and technical evaluation. You will provide hands-on systems and network administration support across a range of hardware and software infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical lab setting and enjoys solving complex integration challenges.ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and integrate prototype applications for technical evaluation in a lab environmentAdminister Linux-based systems and support network infrastructure including servers and storage (NAS)Implement security best practices including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenanceSupport hardware installation and configuration for servers and network infrastructureWrite and maintain Unix shell scripts (Bash, Bourne, or C shell) to automate tasks and support operationsProvide application administration and IT support to customers developing and testing experimentsMaintain system security posture in accordance with organizational standards and policiesRequired QualificationsStrong Linux system administration experienceExperience in systems and/or network administration, application administration, or IT supportExperience supporting hardware installation including servers and network infrastructureExperience configuring network-attached storage (NAS)Experience implementing PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenanceKnowledge of Unix shell scripting (Bash, Bourne, or C shell)IAT-I certification (e.g., Security+ CE)Desired QualificationsExperience deploying and maintaining nginxFamiliarity with Docker and Red Hat SatelliteFamiliarity with cloud computing environments such as AWSExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, SALT, or AnsibleExperience with system monitoring platforms such as Prometheus and GrafanaExperience with SELinux and FIPSWhy engineers join Benz15% employer 401(k) — vested day one, no match required28 paid days off per year$7,500 annual tuition reimbursement$2,500 training & development budget28 years in business — our engineers stay through recompetes
