We are seeking a motivated Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support materials synthesis, characterization, and battery testing while contributing to the scale-up of materials from laboratory development to manufacturing. You will work closely with senior process engineers and cross-functional teams to execute experiments, analyze results, and support production trials at manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities Synthesize materials using equipment such as bead mills, spray dryers, and furnaces, including supporting routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

Characterize material properties using techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and surface area analysis

Fabricate electrodes and assemble batteries to evaluate material performance

Maintain clear and organized experimental records in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and perform preliminary data analysis

Support the development of technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and safety protocols to enable consistent and repeatable engineering workflows

Collaborate with engineers, operators, and other cross-functional partners to support production trials and troubleshoot process issues at manufacturing sites

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field

Experience working in laboratory, pilot-scale, or manufacturing environments

Hands-on experience with analytical characterization techniques

Ability to document experimental procedures, observations, and results clearly and concisely

Proficiency in analyzing, processing, and plotting experimental data

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 10% to support manufacturing trials

Preferred Qualifications Understanding of battery cathode material synthesis and processing, including wet milling, spray drying, and calcination

6 months to 2 years of experience in a fast-paced pilot-scale or manufacturing environment

Experience collaborating with plant QA/QC teams to support product quality and manufacturing consistency

Familiarity with plant process engineering principles and statistical process control (SPC)

Experience supporting process scale-up or technology transfer from laboratory to pilot or production environments
