Senior Network Engineer/DeveloperThe Senior Network Engineer/Developer is expected to be able to accomplish the following:Develop specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.Conduct cost-benefit analyses and support hardware/software selection decisions.Perform testing and validation of network designs.Monitor network hardware to verify proper configuration and performance.Plan and execute network enhancements and upgrades.Advise users on hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.Maintain deep technical expertise across routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, and related infrastructure.Evaluate emerging communications technologies for future deployment.Required qualifications include:Active TS/SCI + Poly clearanceBS, 12-15 years of relevant experience; MS, 10-13 years; PhD, 10+ yearsOne or more of the following DoD 8570/CS-NET-441 certifications: CASP+, CISSP, GCEDOne or more of the following network certifications: CCNP Enterprise/Security, CCIE, JNCIPDesired qualifications include:AWS Solutions Architect – Associate/ProfessionalMicrosoft or VMware networking-related certificationsAzure Network Engineer AssociatePalo Alto PCNSECheck Point CCSA/CCSECisco DevNet ProfessionalPython automation certificationsAnsible Network Automation certificationWe are seeking a Senior Network Engineer/Developer to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Network Engineer/Developer will design, plan, develop, test, secure, and optimize enterprise-level network solutions in support of mission-critical operations.
