Senior Full Stack Java Software Engineer

Join an exciting FinTech/Payments company as it builds a new technology platform and business offering from the ground up. We seek Senior Full Stack Java Developers with 10-20 years of experience designing and delivering high-quality software products. These positions will consist of about 80% backend and 20% front-end.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must be based in the Dallas area

This is a hybrid role requiring work to be completed onsite three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

OVERALL DUTIES: Part of a team to lead the architecture and design of a modern technology platform.

Develop highly scalable, secure, cloud-native applications utilizing Java and the Spring ecosystem.

Partner with executive leadership to align technical strategy with business objectives.

Define software engineering standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices.

Mentor and coach software engineers while fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Lead technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance across development teams.

The current tech stack includes Java 25, React 19, Spring Boot 4.1, Spring Framework, Hibernate, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Git, Maven, Claude Code, and AWS.
